I am a father of 3 children and we live in Homewood, IL. I have been involved in softball and baseball for multiple years and have coached multiple teams. I have been a board member in my local league, Homewood Baseball and softball for the past 6 years and held multiple rolls within the organization. I previously managed 3 part time travel and all star softball teams at both the 8u and 10u level and most recently have been an assistant coach in the Lincoln-Way Storm full time travel organization.
My goal for this 11u team is to establish a fun learning environment that builds the skills needed to compete at this level and beyond. I believe that players at this age will progress by focusing on the fundamentals and doing the small things correctly. We will give our players the opportunity to learn the game and compete for multiple positions based on hard work and individual talents. At the end of the season, our players positive attitude, hard work and coachability is what will set us apart and put us in the position to win.
I am a father of 4 kids, living in Tinley Park for the last 14 years. Involved with the Bobcat/Bulldog organizations coaching both Baseball and softball for the last 9 years. My experience of coaching and assisting with travel softball with organizations of the Bulldogs/ Cubs Southwest Fast Pitch/ and most recently assisting with the Lincolnway Storm organization. My coaching philosophy for the kids is to win at the small things which will make winning the larger things far easier. I am really excited to see the kids grow, learn and succeed both on and off the field. Good sportsmanship, great attitudes and supportive environment will help make this a great experience for everyone.
