Sarah Fahey
Sarah has an extensive 30+ year background in fastpitch softball. Sarah was a high school All-American pitcher and the Illinois High School Player of the Year. She played travelball for many years and played for the Orland Park Sparks her last three. She earned a full-ridescholarship to Drake University where she was named First Team All Conference for the Missouri Valley her senior year. Sarah finished her collegiate career with an ERA of 1.52. She still holds several pitching records at Drake. After leaving college, Sarah continued to play for two years for the Lady Sharks (a women’s fastpitch team). She also started her high school coaching career (23 years) and has coached at every level. Sarah loves having the opportunity to teach young ladies the game from the perspective of a former player and helping improve their softball IQ.
