Sarah Fahey
Coach Sarah Fahey:
Sarah has an extensive 30+ year background in fastpitch softball. Sarah was a
high school All-American pitcher and the Illinois High School Player of the Year. She played travelball for many years and played for the Orland Park Sparks her last three. She earned a full-ridescholarship to Drake University where she was named First Team All Conference for the Missouri Valley her senior year. Sarah finished her collegiate career with an ERA of 1.52. She still holds several pitching records at Drake. After leaving college, Sarah continued to play for two years for
the Lady Sharks (a women’s fastpitch team). She also started her high school coaching career and has coached at every level. Sarah is on the coaching staff at Oak Forest High School going into her 22nd year total of coaching. Sarah loves having the opportunity to teach young ladies the game from the perspective of a former player and helping improve their softball IQ.

Eric Haak
Coach Eric Haak: Eric has been involved in coaching fastpitch softball for over 30 years. Accolades include managing Palos Hills to a Little League State Championship, Coaching 12U, 14U, and 16U levels for the Orland Park Sparks, a stint as the Varsity Head Coach at Marian Catholic High School, and winning the 1998 AFA National Championship as a member of the 18U Whiteford Sharks coaching staff. Over the past decade, he has been bringing the joy of playing fastpitch to underprivileged kids in Chicago through his Chicago Stars fastpitch program. Several graduates of this program have gone on to earn athletic and academic scholarships to college. Contact: eahaak@cps.edu
